New York Times Single Sign On

To use the Single Sign On method

Click the blue login button  NYT Login Button (upper right corner)

Click: Continue with work or school sign-on link as seen below

(the link is the last option in the list)

Already Have a NYT Account?

 *Have an account  & want to switch to the SSO method?

  • From a web browser, subscribers should be directed to login into their nytimes.com account via their current login method (eg. email/password or social login method).
  • Then go to Account > Email and settings > click "Connect" next to Work or School

*Already have a personal paid subscription?

If a student or a faculty/staff member has a personal paid subscription, you are welcome to cancel it and set up and account through CNU.

"EXISTING registered subscribers with ACTIVE PAID subscriptions must cancel their subscription by visiting nytimes.com/help or calling 1-855-698-1157. Once the subscription is canceled, they can visit accessnyt.com, type in the school name, and follow the instructions based on location. Since the subscriber “Already has an account " they click “Log In" (Found below "Create an Account"). Input their email address and the same “Password” created for their previous account if the subscriber encounters an error message the subscriber can email  edu@nytimes.com."
