Reserve a Study Room: Reserving a Study Room

All group study room reservations are made online through Scheduling's Virtual EMS by searching for Virtual Event Management System on the myCNU page, or going directly to https://vems.cnu.edu/emswebapp/

To schedule any Library space other than the individual/group study rooms listed on this page, please contact Scheduling at 757-594-7018 or via email at sched@cnu.edu.

There are 8 group study rooms that are set up for technology-aided study (noted on Library maps as GS + T).

The rooms listed below each have a large monitor with the ability to connect your laptop to them wirelessly.

The Paul and Rosemary Trible Library has 44 study rooms available for student, faculty, and staff use. These rooms may be reserved up to 14 days in advance by going to the Virtual EMS.

Making Reservations:

• Only CNU students, faculty, or staff may reserve rooms.
• If a room is not reserved, walk-ins may occupy on a first come first served basis. (Walk-ins must clear the room for the next reservation).
• Reservations must be made at least 4 hours in advance.
• Reservations are limited to 2 hours a day.
• A reservation may be forfeited if more than 15 minutes late.
• Occupants may be requested to vacate rooms to enable maintenance work to be carried out, or for administrative reasons.
• The library is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property left in rooms.

Proof of your reservation is found when you sign in to Virtual EMS and look at the list of your scheduled rooms.
