"Katherine Howard (c.1520-1542) was the fifth wife of Henry VIII. Katherine was condemned to death by this Act of Attainder and executed on Tower Green, London. Henry appointed Commissioners to give the Royal Assent to the Act instead of coming himself to Parliament, thus setting a precedent which has since been widely followed."
