Market Share: Finding in Databases

The Market Research Reports link on the main search page does not typically contain market share data

1. Click the Advanced Search link under the search box (outlined in purple)

2. In the first search box type the name of the company and change the drop down box to CO Company Entity

3. In the second search box type market share and change the drop down box to SU Subject Terms

3. The items in the results list should provide market share information related to the company

1. Type ns=c313 AND in the search box

2. Click the blue arrow next to All Companies and search for the company name

3. Use the purple up arrow to add the company name to the search box

The search box should be similar to the one in the screenshot below below with fds=frdmo replaced with your company

4. Items in the results should include market share information on the company

3. In the second search box type market share and change the drop down box to SU Subject Terms

3. The items in the results list should provide market share information related to the industry

1. Type ns=c313 AND in the search box

2. Click the blue arrow next to All Industries and search for the industry

3. Use the purple up arrow to add the industry to the search box

The search box should be similar to the one in the screenshot below below with in=iaut replaced with your industry

4. Items in the results should include market share information on the industry

• Click on the Browse link (outlined in purple)

• Look under Industry and Market Research (outlined in purple)

• These reports may provide market share information
