JOURNAL FINDER
Journal Finder is a database that tells you what journals Trible Library holds, and in what format. To use Journal Finder:
From the library’s home page (http://www.cnu.edu/library), click on the "Resources and Services" button; then click on the "Journal Finder" tab.
Enter the name of the journal you wish to find. Correct spelling is a must.
You will then see a listing of title search results.
Click on the appropriate icon to discover what holdings the library has for the journal title you need. Notice that the online database where you will find the journal is listed, along with dates of coverage.
When you click on the title/source you want, you will be linked to the database containing the title, where you will locate the specific article you need.
If Journal Finder indicates that the Trible Library does not subscribe to the journal you're seeking, after doublechecking to ensure that you have typed the title correctly, consider utilizing the library's interlibrary loan service or your VTC borrower's card to procure the article needed.
ADVANCED SEARCHING
Advanced searching allows you to search journal titles by keyword, a very useful feature if you’re not sure of the title. You may also search by ISSN number. You may also access subject lists of journals held by Trible Library in the advanced searching mode.
