Finding the Full Text

Use "Journal Finder" - either the link near the article citation, or on the Library's home page.  Just type in the journal name and check for the date you need.

If there are no results -
Use ILLiad, the Interlibrary Loan system to request the material you need
Check for holdings at other local libraries, and take your VTC card and go get the book or article yourself.
More information about the VTC card is below.

Curious about local libraries?

Use other library catalogs to locate resources - be sure you have a VTC card before you visit!

As a CNU student, you can borrow materials from other area college and university libraries that belong to the Virginia Tidewater Consortium (VTC) for Higher Education.

BEFORE you go to another library,

from the Circulation Desk in the Trible Library.

You must present the VTC card and your CNU ID at the library in order to borrow materials.  The VTC cards are free and good for one semester.

Important Note

Analyze all the information you find - is it accurate?

Is it coming from a reliable source?  And use the
